When I watch this heart wrenching trailer about the Documenting Hope Project (link below), I’m thinking about my children, future grandchildren, and my nieces and nephews. It seems everyone I know is somehow connected in some way with someone they love who is affected by autism, ADHD, allergies, asthma, juvenile RA, mood disorders or type 2 diabetes.

These diseases/disorders are increasing astronomically and little seems to be done in way of recovery from, prevention or seeking out the root cause. It’s all about managing. It’s not sustainable on so many levels and it’s not fair to the future generations.

We need to be serious, as a society, about the convenience Frankenfoods we consume and feed our children (including what they are being fed in school), the chemicals that are being sprayed on clothing, carpets, landscaping, baby products, mattresses, etc. The contaminates in our air and water. The chemicals and heavy metals in our pharmaceuticals and body care products. Even the stress of being busy and putting inappropriate pressure on kids in school is toxic to their little bodies.

It’s disrupting our human biology and the consequences to the little innocent ones is a WAKE UP CALL.

There are ways to greatly improve and even heal from these disorders (as I write about and refer to a lot on this blog!), unfortunately, that is not the way our current conventional medical system is set up. The Documenting Hope Project is looking to change all that!

Read on and then please watch the trailer!

“What is the Documenting Hope Project?

We are a pioneering group of scientists, physicians, healers, parents and children’s health advocates who have assembled to scientifically demonstrate that recovery from chronic childhood conditions (even those as complex as autism and autoimmune conditions) is possible. The Documenting Hope Project seeks to inspire parents, physicians, and policy makers to think differently about children’s health and redesign a system that truly understands how to prevent and reverse chronic health conditions.

The Project is a not-for-profit science and media initiative that will:

  • Run a pilot recovery program (with 14 chronically ill children)

  • Document their recovery scientifically (collecting relevant biomarkers and observational data)

  • Capture their inspirational stories on film

  • Disseminate these shared learnings to everyone”

Please watch and please do what you can to be part of the movement.
